SolAngular mounting system is made from galvanised steel, as this is close to aluminium on the galvanic series, which helps to minimise corrosion.
Main support beam length is 1330mm, the top sits off the wall by ~90mm. The bottom the same at zero degrees, 200mm at 5 degrees, 260mm at 7.5 degrees and 300mm at 10 degrees.
Each assembled SolAngular support is 2.4kg (5.3lbs).
Maximum static load is 35kg per SolAngular support assembly. To calculate this, total the mass of the panels and rails and divide by the proposed number of SolAngular supports. If your static load exceeds this, simply add more SolAngular supports to share the load.
SolAngular can be set to 0 degrees, which is vertical, or 5, 7.5 or 10 degrees from the vertical. Most suitable for low sun angles, east, west or winter sun.
It's designed to work with standard roof mounting rails, each beam has 3 pre-drilled holes, separated by 550mm. Therefore 1100mm between the top and bottom rails, with holes for optional middle rail, used on more exposed installations.
Corrosion resistant galvanised steel, with galvanised nuts and bolts. It works well with aluminium rails.

We supply galvanised 120mm x 10mm wall fixings (R-FFS-N-10K120) with the product, suitable for Concrete ≥ C12/1, Solid brick, Solid sand-lime brick, Hollow sand-lime brick, Hollow lightweight concrete block, Aerated concrete block, Hollow brick, Cracked concrete ≥ C12/15.
Each installation is distinct, you must ensure the fixings supplied suit your wall and its condition. If you choose to use alternative fixings, then consider galvanised products with a minimum length of 120mm.
Each top and bottom wall bracket has 2 wall mounting holes which are ~10.5mm diameter. Both must be used into brick or block, not into the mortar.
For mounting to wood, we would recommend you use galvanised coach, carriage or timber frame bolts. Please remember that the rigidity of your whole system will depend on the rigidity of what you fix your SolAngular to.

Yes, indeed we would recommend you paint it to increase any corrosion protection. The brackets are even more unobtrusive when painted black or a colour that complements the mounting location.
We advise you follow the the local electrical regulations. In many regions it is mandatory to connect electrical earthing/grounding to exposed metalwork of any Solar PV system, that is the panel frames, the rails and any attached metalwork, like SolAngular.
No we don't supply rails with the SolAngular supports, it is better to source the rails locally because of their size. You may even have rails left over from previous work.
